Using the development of the muscle of the heart as a metaphor for personal growth, a single muscle fibre evolves through five distinctive stages and reaches maturity to the beating heart or fails becoming a casualty”
In May 2018, I was invited among other six Canadian artists to participate in the 2nd Muscle Memory Symposium organized by artist Mimi Kokai at The International Ceramics Studio, Késkemet, Hungary. We shared studio space and interacted with six local artists during a month. At the end of the residence, we exhibited our work in the studio Gallery and months later at The Canadian Embassy in Budapest. Next year, Canadian participants of both Symposia presented our work at The Craft Ontario Gallery in an exhibition called: “The Body has Reasons the Reason knows not of”.
